His career has been an adventure. First there was the prestigious, world-renowned Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He didn't settle for a Master's degree in management science and went on to earn a PhD in industrial investment projects. He discovered Latin America during a Volontariat Service National Actif (VSNA) in Honduras within the French Embassy, where he helped promote French products in the country. There, he perfected his knowledge of the Cervantes language, which led him to develop the international business of a French agro-industrial group in Mexico, where his knowledge of Hispano-American culture enabled him to win industrial contracts from Swiss and German competitors.
A few years later, the Roussel Uclaf laboratories entrusted him with the commercial development of his leading Agro-veterinary molecule in Latin America, from Rio Grande to Patagonia.
Then, at Roussel Uclaf, he was asked to set up the bridgehead of the Group's clinical nutrition division in the United States and Canada, after having developed this activity in Western Europe and Scandinavia. From New York, he managed product marketing and a sales force of 50 representatives throughout the European Union. Within two years, Roussel Uclaf had become the leader in high-tech clinical nutrition in the United States for hospitals such as Harvard Medical School and San Francisco General Hospital.
It was in California that he discovered the first social networks and their potential applications for developing corporate performance. In the early 1990s, he came to the attention of the Elf / Total group with the CATs method he had developed to promote networked innovation within the group's Research & Development Innovation Department (DRDIE), which operates in the "oil & refining, chemicals and pharmaceuticals" divisions. It has demonstrated performance gains of 30% on strategic projects carried out with CATs, compared with conventional methods. His successes led him to join Sanofi to accelerate the time-to-market for drugs with a global impact.
In 2000, he moved into consulting, supporting IT and biotech start-ups on global markets by raising funds to facilitate their internationalization. In 2005, he was asked by a leading business school to create a Master's degree in IT services and solutions. The Master Advise "Advanced Information System Management" was created in partnership with IBM and has become a benchmark in the French higher education market.
At the same time, he is involved on a voluntary basis in the development of the national association of Doctors of Economics and Management "ANDESE» and is developing the magazine VSE: Vie & Sciences de l'Entreprise, distributed worldwide. The association awards the "Prix ANDESE du Financier" to CAC 40 leaders who have shown the most exceptional individual career paths associated with highly significant financial, economic and impact results. French and European academic research is highlighted through the ANDESE Thesis Prize, which rewards the best research work in Economics and Management from French and European doctoral schools.
